Which clubs are allowed to compete in the KNVB Cup tournament?

Participating in the KNVB Cup are football clubs in Dutch professional football (Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie), clubs from the highest amateur divisions (second and third divisions) and amateur clubs that reached at least the semi-finals of regional district cups in the previous season.
