How long will King’s Day be celebrated?

Koningsdag has been celebrated in its current form since 2013. The first Queen’s Day was celebrated in 1891 when Wilhelmina ascended the throne after the death of William 3. Locally, Princess Day was celebrated in honour of Wilhelmina as early as 1885.
