How do UEFA club coefficients work?

The UEFA club rankings take into account each club’s results in the UEFA club competition and are used to determine a club’s place in the draw for the club competition (5-year ranking) and a club’s revenue share (10-year ranking). The coefficients are updated immediately after each completed round of matches.
